About Nelis.us :
Nelia is an up and coming singer, born and raised in Europe, currently living in Chicago. She discovered her passion for music at a very early age. Growing up with pop influences (Michael Jackson, Madonna, Roxette), her main inspiration came from Latin music. Nelia spoke fluent Spanish at the age of 10, when she started exploring Latin dances, like Lambada, Salsa and Merengue. From the age of 18 on, Nelia became a frequent at the salsa clubs, making friends with Latinos from all over South America, dancing to her favorite songs by Johnny Rivera, Grupo Niche, Celia Cruz. While working on several music projects with European Producers, releasing minor hits in the dance/pop sector, the Soul, R&B, and Latin Rhythms never let go of Nelia and marked her destiny to come to the United States, where her father, a dedicated musician himself, currently takes part in developing her own album. “I am so excited! This album will reflect all my strongest musical influences combined with lyrics that come straight from my heart.”

Her modeling engagements enabled her to travel extensively to many countries and helped her become fluent in 5 languages. Her original brand of music often reflects many influences she was exposed to while roaming the world. Even though Nelia has enjoyed lots of media exposure as a model and actress on both sides of the Atlanic (Cosmopolitan Magazine, Maxim, FHM, CBS TV Network to name just a few) her insatiable drive to make it big in the music business is unstoppable.
